Community Kitchen

The Lifeline South Coast Community Kitchen relies of a team of incredible volunteers to provide a free lunch, 5 days per week, to members of our community in need.

Join the Community Kitchen Team

Our volunteers come from different backgrounds and experiences, but share a view that supporting others with a meal and compassionate conversation can make a significant positive contribution to the individuals using our service and to the community more broadly.

What’s involved

Utilising donations and food rescue efforts, we aim to create diverse and nutritious meals. We also work to ensure our dining area is safe and comfortable for all customers of our service.

You don’t need any special skills, we are simply looking for volunteers who have a willingness to interact with our customers without judgement.

As a Community Kitchen volunteer your role will include assisting with meal preparation, serving, interacting with customers, cleaning and housekeeping.
