What We Do

Shopping at Lifeline South Coast is a great way to find a bargain, but did you know that you’re also helping to save lives and save the planet?

You can shop our four Lifeline op shops across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven for preloved goods such as clothing, books, furniture, bric-a-brac and homewares. By shopping second-hand you’re giving a new life to each item you buy. That means fewer items headed to landfill.

All profits made from our shops go directly toward funding local suicide prevention services and our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line based in Wollongong and Nowra.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and support our communities to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope.

Become a Volunteer. Get Involved.

Our Retail Volunteers ensure the Lifeline Shops raise much needed revenue so that Lifeline can continue to respond to people who need us.  Our Retail Volunteers are often the public face of Lifeline, it is a very warm and connected community.

Lifeline South Coast would like to acknowledge the lives that have been lost to suicide. We are committed to supporting those with a lived experience of suicide and aim to reduce the stigma around seeking help for poor mental health and suicidal crisis.
