Return and Earn

Ways to donate

Looking for an easy way to help Lifeline South Coast? You can now donate your Return and Earn refund directly to us. It's as simple as:

1. Download the Return and Earn app.
2. Activate the app: open the app and follow the activation process.
3. Select Lifeline South Coast as your charity: go to the Charities section in the app, search for Lifeline South Coast, and select us as your preferred charity.
4. Deposit containers: feed your cans and bottles into the Return and Earn machine. You can find your closest return point on the Return and Earn map.
5. Complete the donation: tap the transfer button on the machine's screen to donate 100% of your refund to Lifeline South Coast.
6. Need a tax deductible receipt? Find them in the Refunds menu on the app.

Don't have the app? Simply return your eligible containers at a Return and Earn depot and either scan our barcode to donate your refund to us, or select the Donate option on the machine and choose Lifeline South Coast from the list of registered organisations.

Scan the barcode below at your Return and Earn terminal and give directly to Lifeline South Coast.

You can also use the barcode shown on a Lifeline South Coast Return and Earn flyer. Simply scan the barcode shown on the flyer to donate your refund to us, or select the Donate option on the machine and choose Lifeline South Coast from the list of registered organisations.

Your donation will go directly towards supporting people in crisis and ensuring that no person has to face their toughest moments alone.

Thank you for supporting Lifeline South Coast

Thank you for choosing to donate your eligible bottles and cans to Lifeline South Coast through the Return and Earn program. Your simple act of recycling is helping save lives.

Last year, our local crisis support centres in Wollongong and Nowra answered 32,627 calls from people in distress seeking help. Each call costs approximately $30 to answer.

Funds raised through your Return and Earn donations go directly towards supporting these lifesaving services, ensuring trained crisis supporters are available to listen, provide support, and help people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

Thank you for making a difference.
