Accidental Counsellor (Blended)

Basic skills to support someone experiencing crisis and facilitate safe and supportive conversations surrounding suicide.

Accidental Counsellor (Blended) Workplace Training

Employers are increasingly aware of their responsibility to support the mental health and wellbeing of their employees, as well as provide suicide awareness and prevention initiatives in the workplace.

The Accidental Counsellor (Blended) workshop supports employers to holistically meet these responsibilities, providing participants with a toolbox of counselling skills that they can utilise to support colleagues and customers – as  well as family, friends, and strangers – who may be experiencing crisis, or be at risk of suicide.

Building the counselling skills and confidence of employees to help those in crisis and facilitate open conversations surrounding suicide not only supports the individuals in need. It also fosters a healthier, happier, and more resilient workplace, and has a direct impact on business goals, employee retention, and workplace productivity as a result.
