Financial Counselling

This service has officially closed in April 2023.

Financial Counselling Service Closed

Lifeline South Coast Financial Counselling is closed, and we are no longer taking new clients.

Due to lack of external funding, the difficult decision to close Lifeline South Coast Financial Counselling has
been made. Over the last 5 years Lifeline South Coast has been proud to internally fund this service, whilst
actively pursuing alternative funding sources. While some short-term funding was secured, associated with
bushfire response and recovery, no alternative reliable, ongoing funding sources have been secured.
Unfortunately, continued internal funding of the service is no longer feasible.

We are proud of the financial counselling services we have delivered to our local communities over many
years. Our financial counselling program has provided free, confidential, and professional support to over
4,000 clients in the last 20 years, supporting them through financial crisis.

If you are seeking financial counselling services, please contact the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007
